Ropes ISD trustees authorize Series 2026 school building bonds

The Ropes ISD Board of Trustees adopted an order authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of Ropes Independent School District Unlimited Tax School Building Bonds, Series 2026, at its March 23, 2026, meeting. The motion, made by Keila Ketchersid and seconded by Blake Thrash, carried.

Trustees approved a contract with JDMA for band hall renovation and expansion. The motion, made by Chad Brooks and seconded by Keila Ketchersid, carried.

Trustees also approved a contract with JDMA for an elementary classroom addition. The motion, made by Blake Thrash and seconded by Tysen Mortensen, carried.

Trustees approved the order of cancellation of the general election for the Board of Trustee election for May 2, 2026. The motion, made by Donnie Halpain and seconded by Blake Thrash, carried.
